When is a Tax Identification Number Required?

For orders shipped to the United States or Canada, a TIN (Tax Identification Number) is required for orders valued over $2,500.

At checkout, we currently collect this information from trade customers only. If your order exceeds $2,500 and no TIN was provided, our team may contact you before dispatch to request it.

This information is required for customs clearance and identifies you as the importer. Trade customers can provide a business tax number, such as an EIN or TIN. Non-trade customers who do not have a TIN may be asked to provide their SSN so the courier can complete the necessary customs documentation.

If tariffs or duties were paid at checkout, no additional payment should be required. If they were not prepaid, the courier will contact you directly to arrange payment of any applicable duties, taxes, or fees before or during delivery.
